The shave gel goes on easy, you don't need a ton of it, the product smells great but what I like best is how well it works. I've used tons of other shave creams/lotions/etc, but the blade glides with this gel, the shave is close and my skin is silky smooth afterwards with no razor burn. Highly recommend this product !!
